Counselor Education (Assistant Professor)
Seeking a dynamic counseling generalist who is committed to excellence in teaching, supervision, research/publications, and service. Evidence of scholarly production, strong clinical/supervision preparation and experience preferred. Faculty expectations include collegiality, ability to work within teams, and mentoring of master’s and doctoral students. The CACREP accredited Counseling Programs at the University of Wyoming include Master’s degrees in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling as well as the Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. Our in-house Counseling Clinic is a state-of-the-art training facility with fully digitized equipment providing opportunities for live supervision. License eligibility in the State of Wyoming is required. Successful applicants must have an earned doctorate in Counselor Education (CACREP graduate) by the start date, August 17, 2010. Educational Leadership (Assistant or Associate Professor)
Seeking two tenure-track faculty members to join a team that offers master’s and doctoral level educational leadership and educational research programs in traditional and distance delivery formats. Requirements include an earned doctorate in Educational Leadership, Administration, or Policy Studies prior to appointment date; experience as an educational leader including but not limited to K-12 leadership experience; evidence of effective teaching; and evidence of scholarly writing and research. We will consider all qualified applicants and are particularly interested in those who have expertise in several of the following areas: quantitative research methods, curriculum, assessment, instruction, organizational leadership, and educational law. In addition we are looking for applicants who have experience or interest in using distance methods for course delivery.
